MEET COACH JASON CLAYTOR

Back in 1979, while my mom was pregnant with me, she was an aerobics instructor at Family Fitness Center in Santee. “I have fitness in my blood,” according to her. Skip forward to 1991, when I got my first gym membership at age 11. (We actually had to forge my birth certificate to say I was 12 because that was the rule back then!) Now, at 43, I still have that same gym membership.

I started my career at the age of 24, totaling 18 years of professional training experience thus far. Throughout my career, I have worked with hundreds of clients and have trained over 25,000 sessions. It has exposed me to different body types, injuries, personalities, lifestyles, and goals.

While training, I have always continued my education. This has kept me ahead of the curve by applying the most recent scientific data as well as different coaching styles. The 3 most influential being; CrossFit, the Poliquin Group and Kelly Starrett.

My biggest takeaway from CrossFit is the 10 components of fitness. While the Poliquin Group helped me master the science behind weight loss and Kelly Starrett helped me understand pain management.
